Freaky! Moxie Girlz

Last Christmas Mae got "Moxie Girlz" from her dad .. ..cute huh!

Wait! Take off their shoes (and clothes), but the feet freak me out! Mae knows that they freak me out and teases me with them all the time, but look closely. At Macies age she can barely keep track of her own shoes let alone a 1/2 inch doll shoe. So this is what we have ended up with! FOOTLESS BARBIE DOLLS!

Pretty freaking sick! I would rather my dog chew off their feet then see this! HATE IT!

Freaking 31 years old!

It's was my birthday yesterday....

I hate it. Dumb.

Well I thought I would try to be positive and show you the pics of Mae and my family efforts to make it a good day..

It was a "Bee" Day...... hense the bee theme.

Overall it was okay. I worked, mowed the lawn, made spaghetti and then fought with Macie.. What do you expect at 31?

2nd Grade!

Today was Macie's first day of 2nd grade!

It has always bugged me when moms say "she is getting so big!" or even cry when they drop them off at their first day at school......

But now I get it!

Fashion Police!

Macie has been into fashion lately, maybe it was the school shopping, not sure.. So today she said, "come here" so I stood next to her (I was wearing almost white pants and a gray t-shirt with a white tanktop underneath and no shoes) and she said "too much white!" as she ajusted my shirt, then she asked me what shoes I wore. So I showed her what shoes I wore and she said "oh, those are perfect!"

I am so glad that I have someone looking over me, even if she is 7!

Also, her best friend came over the other day to see her new school clothes and as she left she said to Mae "you are going to be so popular!"

Ha Ha! I am in for it!

The Saturday Night Tent

Me and Mae got bored because the weather wasn't so great. So we built a tent in our basement. Mae slept in it and we made popcorn with chocolate syrup and watched a movie

It was so much fun!

Barbies!

While playing Barbies today with Macie...I realized that the barbies don't have a bed.. (a mom can only play barbies for so long without getting bored or side tracked!)

So, after googling "barbie furniture" for awhile, we both got creative......

Macie's Diner ~ Now Serving!

Happy Birthday Macie!

Mae has been into playing restaurant lately and so we had a 50's Diner theme for her Birthday - It was so much fun!

We danced to 50's music, had hula hoop contests and off course ate at Macie's Diner!

Macie interests me every day!

Mom: "would you like some cheese?"
Mae: "OH! That would be delightful!"
PAUSE
Mae: "Do you know what delightful means?"
Mom: "Yes"
Mae: "Well then why are you looking at me like I am CRAZY!" (she said thiswith A LOT of emotion!)


Another one;

Mae: "I think I have what Marnee has!"
Mom: "What's that?"
Mae: (sigh) "A headache from the kids!"
Mom: (giggle)
Mae: "I AM SERIOUS!"

Making Valentines for class:
Mae: "Jonathan is so cute, we bumped into each other and came this close (hold fingers really close together) to KISSING!"

"THE TOASTER SHRINE"

Macie was playing "restaurant" in the kitchen yesterday and when she was done playing and picking up her mess, this is what I found...... "The Toaster Shrine" She said that it was dear to her heart!

Snow! Snow! Snow!

We had so much fun this Christmas break! The kids played outside every day, all day! They loved it!!

This is a sneak peak at what they did all day, every day! (imagine my house! what a mess! 4 kids in and out all day with wet clothes and dirty boots! I almost went crazy!)

Sade and Noah are pulling Kage and Macie is reckless on her own!

Owen T Hover

After the boys went home this weekend, I was cleaning up the house and found some wonderful art by Macie (done weeks ago I am sure). It says "Owen T Hover" her favorite cousin! She told me that they were playing school one day and they went "out to recess" and drew on the wall - my wall!! I guess she still needs to work on her "sounding out"!

Kids, Kids every where I look!

Andy has 3 boys, Noah(4), Sade(10) and Kage(13).

This weekend Andy had his kids and it was Noah's 4th birthday! Andy gave him an itty-bitty 4 wheeler! He loved it!

Having three boys around is a lot different then one silly girl!! Mae was with her dad this weekend and missed out on all the fun!

She wishes she could have a itty-bitty 4 wheeler. I told her that Santa is coming and she better be good.....I will keep you posted on that!

Macie has done some funny things in the last couple of days, I don't know where she gets it!!

• "Mom, I wonder what has happened in my head? I keep thinking about a viscous man eating squirrel"
• One day I woke up to her playing the air guitar singing "Low Book Sales.com". What a way to start your day!!
• She said "on the contrary" while playing restaurant in our kitchen.
• One morning she stood in my bed with a blanket over her head and said "Behold!"
• She loves to do her own hair in the morning because "that is whats fun about being a girl!"

Gotta Love her!! She is amazing!!

Whatever!

So, everyone is so "excited" about sharing their lovely lifes on the internet - whatever!

I always told myself I would never be that lame, and that blogs, facebook, my space is not for me! Why would anyone want to seek out and connect people that she didn't really care to know in the first place? Why is it anyones business what I did or did not do today? Why would I care if Hank took his daughter to the park on Saturday? Or that the nerd from high school now has 3 kids, a husband in jail and she is constiantly on FB doing dumb quizes. Or that the stoner is now married in the temple and has 10 kids. Why do people think we need to know this? Why do I care?

Well, something has happened to me because when I have a few extra minutes I find myself drawn towards the computer like a fly in a trailer park.

I don't know what the hell is missing in my life but I am becoming pathetic!
